The Last Rose

The door was swung loudly and deliberately behind little Alzrith, who was holding back tears.
"I hate you, Daddy... I HATE YOU!" came her faint cry as she ran away.
The master of the house – Alzrith's father – peered through his glass window, looking down at the little figure running away the from the mansion to the concealedv gardens ahead. Behind him, the door opened and closed.
"Señor, are we to find the Señorita?"
Without turning around, the Señor answered, "No need." A faint smile curved on his lips. "I know where she goes in times like this..."

Imagine a box: simple glass box with six dark walls. Although the box is made of glass and it should be transparent there's no way to see inside it. There isn't a lid every side is the same. There isn't even a lock. This box wasn't always this way. So let me tell its story.

Once there was a beautiful crystal box. It was so pretty. The lid was engraved with all kinds of beautiful flowers. There was a pretty lock on one of the sides with a key put neatly in it. Imagination Contest entry The bell had rung nearly five minutes ago, releasing the high schoolers to the warm arms of the summer air. Though the impatient students had dashed out of the room like cheetahs on caffeine, two people remained within the colorful walls of the art room.

Ms. LaDyre shuffled with a wide array of papers, trying to find a bit of order and organization in the mess that was her desk. Her light brown hair was pulled into a low ponytail, the sleek strands reaching down to the center of her back. Her jean skirt and high heels made her seem all the more tall and slim.

Love's Tragic EndingExpanding its petals out from its core,
the thorny flower let out a silent roar.
One animals couldn't hear,
but every being should fear.
Red thorns dripped with blood,
nearly as bright as the soft bud.
Night was taking over the forest floor,
what happens next is believed to be folklore.
Snapping out of the ground,
the roots mysteriously made no sound.
With bloody claws one of its least dominate feature,
the rose was transforming into some creature.
The symbol of love turns to a monstrosity,
the reason now perks your curiosity.

The word love is twisted and over used,
while friends, family, and lovers are abused.

The life of a rose.A rose I would compare thee to,
it's beauty knowing no bounds.
Such a glorious site it is,
just to sit and stare upon you.

Yet with such beauty there comes a price,
A price filled with Jealousy, vanity and sin.
But the price changed the delicate beauty,

A creature filled to the brim with such sin,
Oh glorious rose, how vain you have become.
Look at you now, no longer beautiful,
You are a sin filled rose covered in vanity.

Oh fading rose thy name is sin,
forever drowning in your own vanity.
A pitiful rose you have become,
You push all those unworthy away.
